This one is going to be really short. We are just heading out to some supper. Friday is fish and chip night at Tiffany's and that is where we are headed. Donkey is at hockey, yuck, it is summer, not suppose to be playing hockey! And I am not cooking, it is the weekend, was either fish and chips or pizza. Well you already know what won.
Busy weekend ahead, sun, pool and cool drinks, busy, busy, busy!!
So this one is really short, off we go, and have to walk, already did it once today, I think I can do it again. Well there is a nice glass of wine at the end of the walk, so as long as I stay focused I think I can do it.

Hi there! Sorry I missed Wednesday's post, and it was a crappy day for the weather. When it did finally clear up it was too hot to be outside. Me too hot to go outside, but it really was.
My sister-in-law and I went into Orillia to do a bit of shopping, really all we bought was food. Some nice cookies from Mariposa and fresh fruit at the Country Produce. Was a nice little trip out and then we came home and enjoyed the heat. Too hot!
So far today looks like it is going to be gorgeous out, when I am all done working and blogging will spend the rest of the day pool-side.
We finally got our hot tub fixed, it is up and running, waiting for us to enjoy with some nice cold beer, thinking I will be doing that today at some point. Donkey is off to go and get some wood to build stairs for us, since we have moved it to the new location we need stairs to get in and out.
And tonight we out for dinner, I DON'T HAVE TO COOK! Looking forward to no cooking and no clean-up. Hasn't been that bad, and no one has died yet from my cooking, haven't even complained, they are being polite I am sure.
Found a new little bookstore in Orillia, right on the main street, he presently doesn't have a whole lot, but you can see the potential is there. A little bit of everything for everyone and even has a used section at the back. Sorry I can't remember the name but will look again next time we are there. Prices were about the same as everywhere else, no big deals but maybe that will come. Actually left a bookstore without buying a book, just wasn't having a good belly day and through me right off. Next time will have to buy extra. I actually have to have a look through my library; there is a book I keep seeing and not sure if I have it or not, Diana Gibaltar, who is a big fav of mine, and the book is something Echo. Will do that today and see if I have or don't have, because it will be a must have if I don't have it.
So another day is upon us, and really not accomplishing a whole lot, so I think I am just gonna go and clean the kitchen, make the bed and head outside. Why fight it, it has to be noon somewhere! Have a good day everyone!

Is It Hot Enough For You!
Really I shouldn't complain about the heat because I do really like it. I am cold all the time, so when it is hot, I am almost happy. Give me a hot day and a cold beer, well now I am happy. Working away today on my links, yeah I don't know anymore than that so don't ask me, I get the email and I do it. Not really sure what it is I am doing, but I get paid. Anyways working away and come across a recipe for Mojitos, and I am thinking I have tons of fresh mint just growing away in the back garden, pretty sure I have rum, who am I kidding of course I have rum. Well all I need is some limes and club soda, going to have to go to the store before I sit outside for the afternoon. In Cuba we had tried mojitos and didn't really care for them, but I have a hankering for one. Will let you know how they turned out. You will maybe notice that I said they turned out, I am not going to only have one, going to have to test a few. :)
My company has gone visiting today, so I have been able to get lots done, some housework, lots of link building and even getting ready to finish up some potato salad for dinner tonight. I think they are having a good time, the weather has been so nice, we are spending lots of time outdoors. And my Donkey starts holidays tomorrow, so that is going to be even better. Feel bad, knowing he is working away and we are sitting by the pool, eating and having a beer, makes me feel awful, yeah right, the bugger would do it to me in a heart beat. I remember a few years ago when he was off with company and I was working and they actually called me to let me know they were drinking beer beside the pool and how was my day going. Too funny, laugh about it now, at the time I was a little pissy.
Haven't really been doing a whole lot, my brother-in-law is suffering from Sciatica presently, so he is really in quite a bit of pain but being a good sport about everything all in all. And my cute little sister-in-law (I know you will smile when you read this) is getting lots of sun which she loves. She wants to go home all nice and toasty brown at the end of their holidays. Don't blame them, think they will be going home to snow, doesn't snow in the west soon? Teasing you!
So I am off to finish up and then to the store and then to the pool. Yeh! outside here I come, oh and don't forget the Mojitos, so I really had better go to the store.

Did everyone have a nice weekend? Great weather, always nice on a weekend!
We picked up our house guests Friday afternoon and had the pleasure of driving back up north from Toronto in the cottage traffic. These people do this every weekend? Not frigging likely, an hour and a half trip was closer to three hours in solid traffic. Would never be my way to start off a weekend to the cottage, nope, would be stressed to the max!
Had a nice weekend, some good food, compliments of Donkey. Oh and way too much beer, sorry about the 3 a.m., my dear sister-in-law. Good thing she is tolerant, well for those of you who know me, you all understand tolerance.
Some great news from my bestest friends out west, they are coming home!!!! Isn't that wonderful, can't wait, I know the time has gone by quicker than we all expected but this is way better. I am being selfish, but can't wait for them to be back within driving distance. And don't care how many hours, at least they will be here in Ontario. Everyone wish them the best of luck to get here nice and quick and start the next faze of their lives.
Here is a little chuckle. We are having our furnace cleaned today, and the very pleasant man who shows up to do it is a larger man. The entrance into our basement isn't a very large space, and you also have to duck down to get thru one area, sorry I am rude, well that isn't the best of it. I open the door to our spider infested dungeon and apologize for the cob webs and the larger than life spiders, and he is that is okay this is why the customer goes first. Haha, guess what I don't go down there, sorry about your luck. Well let us just say he isn't as pleasant as he was upon arrival. :) What I told you I am rude. Sorry he is now sitting in his truck with it running, probably air conditioning. He wanted the furnace running, not me.
Okay that isn't nice, but it is kinda funny.
Well the site I usually do my links on isn't working today, it was, decided I guess that I should have the time off with my company and sit by the pool and drink beer. Sure not going to argue with that, someone obviously loves me and wants me to relax and work on my chocolate tan. So I shall leave you until next time. Have a good day everyone, hope you are having as good as a day as I am about too.
